Hesitation

Now, my dear, sweet Maya is, although mischevious, NOT adventurous.  While visiting the fountain at the West Palm Beach Zoo a year ago, I captured this series of photos of Maya, hesitant of getting near the water. 

I don't know about this mom.

Yeah...I'm just going to head back to the bench over here.

OK...this is far enough away.  I'll just watch Bella play.

Sure does look like they are having fun.

But I'm good right here.

Maybe I'll stand just a little closer.

No Mom.  I'm not looking at you.  You're trying to trick me.

OK...fine.  I'll come stand next to you, but only cuz all these strangers freak me out.

Mom!!  Bella's gunna get wet!  LOOOK OUTTTT BELLLLLAAAA!

Whew.  That was a close one mom.  Bella's ok.

Oh mom!  Seriously.  She's gunna get wet!!  Help her!

Oh no.  How'd I let Grandma talk me into this??

Well...it's usually fun when we do things together. 

OK.  But just my foot Grandma.
